About me

I’m a simple layman from the midwest, blogging about the intersection of my life and my Christian faith. I blog about issues of faith and life that interest me and I think will be of interest to others.

A simple layman – that reminds me of the story that Adrian Rogers told on yesterday’s Love Worth Finding. A little girl was asked if she
knew the difference between the clergy and the laity – she thought and said that the clergy get paid for being good, but the laity are
good for nothing.

Thanks for all the work you do at the other blogs Brian. Now that you have your very own blog, have you thought of a weight challenge? My cardiologist would be happy if I lost about 30 lbs.
Bad feet and knee have kept me off of the treadmill of late, but
I will be doing something – getting psyched up for October 1.
Have a great day and God bless!

Glenn,

I have a weight challenge on my own, though I haven’t publicized it.

My goal is a long-term one, as it simply takes time to lose the weight and get in shape.

Glenn,

I wish someone would pay me for being good. I might have more incentive then to do so ;)

Brian…congrats on putting up your own blog! Is FTA done?

5. briwd2006 - September 25, 2008

Ryan,

You and everyone else will know if and when that happens. But you are right to ask the question, and it is right for us who run FTA to consider its future.

After all, the Phoenix resurrected long ago :)

As long as it is up, it is still active. Probably what I will do is post any articles I write here and at FTA, because that allows me to write while not putting me into a position of overextending myself for three blogs.

I really don’t want to kill it…but, as with everything else, change is inevitable.

BD…that makes sense. I was just curious as I see that FTA has a totally different look. I thought maybe you were just mirroring it to your own blog while phasing it out.

Thanks for the link love btw!
